Thank you for writing Redwall - you helped make my childhood awesome.

I had no idea he passed away until I saw this and checked Wikipedia to confirm (yes, I know great sources), but wow. This guy in part made me the person I am today. After reading countless stories that he wrote I decided that one day I wanted to be writer too so I could also tell people fantastic stories. I own a few books from his trademark Redwall series and I think I’ll revisit them this weekend in honor of a great storyteller.
